ASDP ferry from the unorganised (2017-2022) Bastiong ferry terminal. Too many ferries for the terminal and many delays.
There are normally 4 ferries a day to/from Rum (Tidore island).

Payment here is now cashless (2022). The cashless payment is complicated: you need to pay online via transfer (indonesian bank only) or via (indonesian) flashcard (BNI, BRI, Mandiri, ...) The latter you can buy and top up in any Indomaret/Alfamart. An alternative option is to go buy the ticket in the nearest Indomaret/Alfamart and you can pay cash there (at a premium of course). With the payment slip you can enter the port where this paper will be changed to a ticket, with which you can board the ferry.

PS. If you do not have the proper cards you'll be charged with transfer fees (2000Rp.person), it is cheaper/quicker to take a speed boat from the nearby speed boat terminal as the frequency is much higher and it only costs 15000 Rp/person (2022).
