There are 2 NKRI bus lines in Gorontalo, but with an awful low frequency (once every 1.5hours).
As far as we know you can board the bus all along the route (just wave it down). Expect this to be a kind of school bus as it passes mainly schools and universities.
It is probably a left-over of the 201X Trans Hulontalangi which seems to be completely dead by now - a tell-tale of what usually happens with public transport in a country where fuel is costing only ~0.5USD per litre and motors are everywhere.
To be paid cash on the bus.
