Our experience with mikrolets in Bitung is bad - lots of cases with claims that payment is not enough, and difficult to find mikrolets which respect the routes and do not consider themselves as private taxis. Try your luck!

This is your cheapeast way from the Tangkoko terminal to either the Pelni or the ASDP ferry port. See the above comment: don't ask how much it costs, as you'll most likely be given a ridiculous amount. Just go, and insist to be dropped off OUTSIDE the port in the street. And pay the mentioned amount. Most likely a discussion will follow, and you could top up a bit (like 5000Rp) if you want.
