There are 2 routes to Sinjai from makassar: one via Camba and the other one via Malino to Tondong (Sinjai).
The bus via Malino goes once a day - 8am from Makassar and ~2pm from Sinjaj. Trip takes 5-6hours one way. Before this bus was going from Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar (Unismuh Makassar), but nowadays it seems to go again from the office in Daya.
Buy the ticket from the office or on the bus. As usual you can jump off and on the bus wherever it passes - normally pro rata payment (distance).
