Route du transport par eau Ampana-Wakai sur la carte de Ampana

There are at least three boats which are plying on the Ampana to Wakai route (KM Herkules, KM Manakara, KM Garuda) - locally knows as speed boats. Combined there should be every day except Friday a fast boat available. The speed boats stop and depart potentially from all villages and piers along the route, but there is no official representation except in Ampana and Wakai. This means your host has to contact them for your pick up, otherwise you'll only see the boat passing by.
The departure time from Ampana is around 9am and 12pm; similar for Wakai, but takes this with the necessary flexibility.
