The large cities act as hubs, and often you will need to change buses in these cities. Such is the case of San Pedro Sula, Tegucigalpa and La Ceiba. San Pedro Sula offers the easiest and most modern solution. The San Pedro Sula Metropolitan bus station. Has a large office in the city opposite the CCI Church, as well as an office at the airport. Rates are some of the best in the country, though at time of research in 2015 they were unable to accept any credit cards. Buses run to Aldea El Chaparro, a 15-minute walk from the visitor center of Parque Nacional La Tigra. Round-trip buses from El Chaparro leave at hourly intervals, with the last bus back at 4pm on the weekend.
