Taxis are plentiful but expensive in Guadeloupe. There are taxi stands at the airport in Pointe-à-Pitre, and you can call one almost anywhere on Grande-Terre, Basse-Terre and Marie-Galante. Fares are 40% higher from 9pm to 7am nightly, as well as all day on Sunday and holidays.
