Obus Route 1 auf der Karte von Vilnius

Easily the most duplicative trolleybus route in Vilnius. This route is 75% a duplicate of route 7 and maybe 65% a duplicate of route 3. Most of the passengers that end up on route 1 could go on either of those routes. It's not really that convenient for residents of Karoliniškės as it is quite infrequent (every ~30 minutes), and it is usually faster to go with route 9 and transfer to route 7. This route only started existing when during some roadworks route 3 was temporarily diverted, but for some reason after they were finished it stayed. And now route 1, the duplicate, is treated as being more important than route 3, for no good reason. The photo is of Solaris IV on route 1 - what a waste of new trolleybuses! Still not as bad as when the 15 meter Solaris IIs go on route 1 (which happens way more frequently than it should) - why not give them to routes which are ACTUALLY OVERCROWDED, and not half empty all the time?! Could be easily closed with free trolleybuses transfered to route 3.
